“My late husband John was looked after by the staff at the Hospice in May 2015. He was a lifelong biker.

I vividly remember being quite shocked at the beautiful surroundings and the positive friendly staff who could not do enough for John, nothing was too much trouble.

Johns friends, of who he had many (bikers mainly) visited the Hospice and commented that it was like being in a hotel!

As scary as all the bikers looked, as it was over TT the staff just accepted these scruffy smelly men of which there were 8 in John’s room at one time! Nobody at Hospice Isle of Man was phased at all.

I can’t ever thank all of the staff enough on how they looked after John and I will always be very grateful for how they made Johns last week’s so very comfortable whilst also supporting his family.”
